| The NAUI Divemaster rating is the highest NAUI leadership level certification with the exception of Instructor. The program is designed to train experienced and knowledgeable divers to organize and conduct enjoyable open water dives for certified divers. Assistant Instructor diver certification preferred although not mandatory, otherwise Master Scuba diver with 25 logged dives and assistant instructor skills required. |

| The Assistant Instructor rating is a NAUI leadership level certification. The program is designed to introduce students to diving instruction basics. It also tests individuals in fundamental water skills needed to be capable assistants. NAUI master scuba diver and Rescue diver certification required. A minimum of 20 logged open water dives are required. |

| The Instructor certification is the highest NAUI leadership certification. I is designed to train the individual to safely teach scuba diving. This program is designed to teach the skills necessary to teach the theory, confined water and open water. This program also tests water skills needed to be capable instructors. |
